Problem

Businesses, organizations and companies using outdoor security cameras often struggle to ensure their surveillance systems maintain proper visibility.

Several issues create security gaps, especially during:

  • Connectivity failures
  • Environmental disturbances that reduce footage clarity

Without proper security camera monitoring, these blind spots can compromise safety.

Solution

We built and trained a system using multiple techniques. Techniques like Most Apparent Distortion (MAD) Calculation, Histogram Intensity Calculation, Edge Density Calculation, and more.

  • The solution continuously analyzes footage and determines if camera visibility is good or poor.
  • Designed to work seamlessly with existing security camera systems for businesses. The tool enhances visibility management and reduces risk.
  • Especially useful for large campuses and high-surveillance areas that rely on smart security cameras.

Despite of camera & weather conditions we triggered

Rain | Smoke | Dust

Implementation-Challenges

Implementation Challenges

  • Detecting poor visibility caused by fog, dirt, or glare in real time.
  • Differences between temporary obstructions and lasting damage.
  • Creating a model that works across various security camera systems for businesses.
  • Integrating the solution without disrupting existing security camera installation setups is important.
  • Ensuring compatibility across brands and types of smart security cameras.
Key-Features

Key Features

  • Real time security camera monitoring for visibility and distortion.
  • Automated alerts for visibility issues across cameras.
  • Ready integration with various security camera installation platforms.
  • Supports outdoor and indoor deployments.
  • Lightweight deployment with no impact on video recording systems.
  • Cloud based reporting for maintenance teams.

Semiconductor Fab in 2025 – Key Trends in Vision AI & Inspection Technologies

Walk into a semiconductor fabrication plant in 2025 and you’ll see something that looks more like a science fiction set than a factory. Robots glide across spotless cleanrooms, wafers are carried through vacuum-sealed chambers, and machines whisper in precision rhythms. Each wafer that enters the fab is a canvas on which billions of transistors will […]

How Computer Vision Is Transforming Semiconductor Fabrication Plants

Semiconductor fabrication plants, commonly called fabs, are some of the most complex and expensive factories ever built. Inside cleanrooms that are thousands of times cleaner than a hospital operating room, wafers of silicon are transformed into chips that power the world’s smartphones, cars, medical devices, and satellites. Every wafer goes through hundreds of steps, lithography, […]

AI Vision in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) Quality Monitoring

Every chip in your phone, your laptop, or even in a satellite, begins as a plain slice of silicon. But before that slice can become the heart of advanced electronics, it has to go through a series of complex processes. One of the least understood, yet most critical of these, is called Chemical Mechanical Planarization, […]
