Problem

  • Manual entry logging of vehicles was time-consuming, error-prone, and vulnerable to manipulation.
  • No reliable way to track vehicle movement history or distinguish between private vehicles and taxis.
  • Lack of a centralized system for analytics, such as peak hours, vehicle types, or parking demand.

Solution

  • We developed and deployed a scalable ALPR system for real-time detection of license plates, vehicle type, and ownership ( Private vs Taxi ).
  • The solution is installed at different places having different fields of view.
  • The system also uses ROI-based detection logic to count and classify vehicles as IN or OUT.
  • The deployment has led to reduced logging efforts by 90% and increased the handling efficiency by 80%
